Brief Design a building with 4 connected rooms and a 5th hidden room.
Duration 2 wks

My strategy of hiding is through the manipulation of expectation. As the user enters the building, slowly progressing up the interior ramp, the glazing facing towards the central courtyard sets up an invitation for users. Once at the threshold between indoor and outdoor on the second floor, the user must make a biased decision to go down the ramp to the courtyard, or, with a leap of faith, step onto the roof of the building which is essentially a ramp that leads to the entrance to the hidden room.
